  • Maxam can summon additional body mass increasing his strength and durability to levels he has stated as being an even match for Drax The Destroyer and Hercules, even allowing him to, through supreme effort, break free of the Invisible Woman's force-field when she had imprisoned him.
  • He is completely invulnerable to psionic attacks.
  • He is also a highly capable fighter, who was able to momentarily block Gamora's attacks, which is not an easy task by any measure.
