Matt maintains strong ties to Western Massachusetts and in his personal Twitter page refers to the area as "best-ern mass" and "Awesomeburg, USA". He is an avid supporter of the Boston Red Sox baseball team.
According to Twitter posts by The Man The Myth, Deis has started tracking music for their first release. No release dates have been set nor has any record label or distribution been named.
Matt had also been recording bass guitars for another Western Massachusetts band called Mayfield, which is now named BBSD (Buynicki Buynicki Stroetzel and Deis).
It has been revealed through interviews and conversations with Deis that he is currently employed the broadband industry as a sales consultant and is working towards a degree in International Business.
