Island Council
The island council has 5 members elected on 5 February 2011. President of the council is Ismail Athif(MDP). was elected as the president on 3rd April 2012 as the previous President Ali Risham resigned from the post. The other members are vice president Abdul Majeed Abdul Qadir(DRP). Murshid Abdul Latheef (MDP), Ali Fahumee and Ali Riza (JP).
