Rules and Restrictions
Like the rest of Singapore, the MRT has numerous and strict penalties. Eating or drinking on on any mass transit in Singapore results in a S$500 fine, while flammable goods result in one totaling S$5000. Smoking in any of these locations will cause a S$1000 fine.
