Personal Life
Reddy was married to M. Savitri Devi and had two sons and a daughter. His younger son, Marri Shashidhar Reddy is active in politics. Reddy's eldest grandson Marri Aditya Reddy is an eGovernance expert. He is also a member of the prestigious Hyderabad Public Schools Society.
Reddy was President of the State Olympic Association and the State Football and the State Volley- ball Associations.
