Marquette is served by American Eagle and Delta Air Lines out of Sawyer International Airport with daily flights to Chicago and Detroit. Marquette is served by a private transportation bus system called the "MarqTran" that runs through the city and to nearby places such as Sawyer International Airport and Ishpeming.
Marquette has freight rail service by the Lake Superior and Ishpeming Railroad. The Canadian National Railway also serves nearby Negaunee, Mich.
