Marnie Hughes-Warrington

Marnie T. E. Hughes-Warrington is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at the Australian National University. Prior to taking up this position in 2012, she was Pro-Vice Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) at Monash University.

Professor Hughes-Warrington is the author of several books:

  • Fifty Key Thinkers on History (Routledge, 2009)
  • The History of Film Reader (Routledge, 2009)
  • How Good an Historian Shall I Be? R. G. Collingwood, the Historical Imagination and Education (Imprint Academic, 2007)
  • History Goes to the Movies (Routledge, 2007)

She has also edited The Palgrave Guide to World Histories (aka Palgrave Advances in World Histories) and is currently working on a new book on the revision of histories.
