Alterations
The mid 1990s saw minor changes occur at the centre, with a glasshouse-style restaurant on Malop Street replaced by a surf store. The interior of the centre was repainted and tiled in a cream colour, and the exterior awnings were changed from brown to light green. The colour has recently been changed to a dark green.
The large Lincraft superstore was also built at this time, and the food court was refurbished. The Venture discount department store closed in the mid 1990s and was replaced by Harris Scarfe.
The early 2000s saw the elimination of Market Square Mall and the rebuilding of Little Malop Street. This road reopening saw the demolition of part of the centre located near Yarra Street. The most recent changes at the centre has been the closure of the Safeway supermarket and their replacement with a number of new stores.
