Achievements
The Marist athletic department is the biggest and most successful in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Marist has been awarded the conference's highest honor, the Commissioner's Cup, more than any school in MAAC history. The Commissioner's Cup is given annually to the most successful MAAC athletic department over the course of the year.
For the 2012-2013 academic year Marist earned its 11th Commissioner's Cup by virtue of seven MAAC championship titles. In winter sports, Marist earned the title crown in women’s basketball as well as women’s swimming and diving. In spring sports, Marist won the league championships in men’s and women’s rowing, men’s and women’s tennis, and softball.
Marist captured its unprecedented 10th MAAC Commissioner's Cup in 2011, sharing the title with Iona College.
