Mario Edwards

Mario L. Edwards (born December 1, 1975) is a retired American Football cornerback. He was drafted in the sixth round (180th overall) of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at Florida State University. He also has a son Mario Edwards, Jr. who is a true freshman Defensive End at Florida State.

In his career, he has played for the Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Miami Dolphins of the NFL. Edwards went to Florida State where he starred early at cornerback.
