Fire
A two-alarm fire broke out prior to the phase two renovations. The fire started in one of the art rooms, purportedly as the result of a device that was left plugged in. The fire was put out a few hours later, but the water damage was extensive. The aftermath of the fire prompted a temporary renovation of the AC building.

Famous quotes containing the word fire:
“A young person is a person with nothing to learn
One who already knows that ice does not chill and fire does not burn . . .
It knows it can spend six hours in the sun on its first
day at the beach without ending up a skinless beet,
And it knows it can walk barefoot through the barn
without running a nail in its feet. . . .
Meanwhile psychologists grow rich
Writing that the young are ones should not
undermine the self-confidence of which.”
—Ogden Nash (19021971)
“And taken by light in her arms at long and dear last
I may without fail
Suffer the first vision that set fire to the stars.”
—Dylan Thomas (19141953)
“O none but gods have power their love to hide,
Affection by the countnance is descride.
The light of hidden fire it selfe discovers,
And love that is conceald, betraies poore lovers.”
—Christopher Marlowe (15641593)
