Marcus Gayle

Marcus Anthony Gayle (born 27 September 1970, Hammersmith, London) is an English born Jamaican former professional footballer, who is now manager of Staines Town. Gayle's primary position was as a striker but also played as a winger and central defender towards the end of his career. His most notable clubs included Wimbledon and Watford before he finished his career at AFC Wimbledon. He also won 14 caps for Jamaica and was a key player for his country as they played at the 1998 World Cup tournament.

After retiring as a player, he became manager of the AFC Wimbledon reserves before taking charge of Staines Town in 2012.
