Marché Du Film

The Marché du Film (lit. Film Market) is the business counterpart of the Cannes Film Festival and one of the largest film markets in the world.

Established in 1959, it is held annually in conjunction with the Festival de Cannes.

With 11,500 participants from 110 different countries, attendance at the 2012 Marché du Film was up 9% compared to 2011. 4,659 films were presented in 2012. Documentary films had a larger presence as 626 documentaries were presented, including 472 completed titles. 230 were made available in the digital video library of the Doc Corner, generating more than 2,000 views.

The 2013 edition of the Marché du Film will be held from May 15–24.
