Production
The director, Navdeep Singh's love for murder mysteries was the reason to debut with this film. The choice of Gul Panag was based on her performance in the critically acclaimed Dor (2006). The selection of Raima Sen was because of her versatility and suitability for most roles. Navdeep not only wanted a good script, but also great actors to work with. The character of Manorama went to Sarika because she was convinced of the role.
Since most of the movie was shot in Rajasthan during the winter season, the crew encountered trouble with the prevailing extreme cold conditions. The ensuing fog and rain also gave them trouble during the shoot.
