"Maniac 2000" (Maniac) is the title of a song by Irish DJ Mark McCabe, a medley of Michael Sembello's 1983 song "Maniac" and Lyrics co-written By Dublin DJ Al Gibbs, over the Instrumental Club Version of Irish Rave act 4-Rhythm's Cover of Maniac, dating back to 1995. McCabe's version was Released in Ireland in the year 2000, reached number one in the Irish Singles Charts, staying at that position for 10 weeks (March 4 - May 6). It is the 4th best selling single in the history of the chart.
