Demographics
Mandarin High School is considered to be a new Duval County school in Jacksonville, Florida. It has a "sister school", First Coast High School, which shares a similar history and ranking status in terms of academic levels in the region.
Mandarin enrolls students from throughout Duval County. As of 2010, Mandarin is the second largest high school in the county following Sandalwood High School; a new school, Atlantic Coast High School, was opened for the 2010–11 school year to reduce enrollment at Mandarin and Sandalwood.
