Al Otaiba is the chairman of Noor Capital, a firm dealing in asset management, private equity, investment banking, investment placement and direct equity. He is also a major shareholder in Abu Dhabi Group, a company with holdings in real estate, banking, Islamic banking, telecommunication, ISP, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, hotels and tourism, as well as being a major shareholder in Dana Gas, which is the first regional private-sector natural gas company in the Middle East. He also owns Maissoune, a Moroccan business venture that has a significant presence in the Morocco . The rest of Al Otaiba’s business activity is unknown due to his very private nature.
