Sampling Technique

There are two specimen types that can be submitted, paraffin-embedded block / 10 unstained slides of 5 um sections or a fresh specimen. If submitting a fresh sample, the tumor 3x3mm sample from an unfixed tumor specimen within an hour of surgery. The sample is then placed in a company-provided RNARetain(R) fixative, which is then shipped to Agendia.
