Mall / Southwest 4th Avenue and Mall / Southwest 5th Avenue

The Mall/Southwest 4th Avenue and Mall/Southwest 5th Avenue stations are light rail stations on the MAX Blue and Red line in Portland, Oregon. It is the 3rd stop eastbound on the current Eastside MAX. It originally served the Yellow Line from 2004 and 2009 until its relocation to the Portland Transit Mall.

The stations are built into the sidewalks of Yamhill and Morrison streets. Points of interest close to the station include the Pioneer Place Mall, shopping areas, and the Portland Transit Mall. They were added after the line was opened as part of the mall development.

Famous quotes containing the words mall and/or avenue:

A father ... knows exactly what those boys at the mall have in their depraved little minds because he once owned such a depraved little mind himself. In fact, if he thinks enough about the plans that he used to have for young girls, the father not only will support his wife in keeping their daughter home but he might even run over to the mall and have a few of those boys arrested.
    Bill Cosby (20th century)

Like art and politics, gangsterism is a very important avenue of assimilation into society.
