Malcolm Bruce Middleton (born 31 December 1973) is a Scottish musician best known for his work with Aidan Moffat in post-folk indie band, Arab Strap, and his subsequent solo career, writing and producing. To date, Middleton has released five solo studio albums, with his most recent, Waxing Gibbous, released on 8 June 2009.
Whilst promoting Waxing Gibbous, Middleton noted that he would be refraining from performing and recording under his own name in the future, stating "I'm starting to feel like I've done as much as I can with this creative voice.". Performing under the pseudonym, Human Don't Be Angry, Middleton is currently recording a debut album for the moniker, due for release in 2012. Despite previous claims that he would retire his solo work, Middleton has recently resumed performing under his own name, alongside his work as Human Don't Be Angry.

Famous quotes containing the words malcolm and/or middleton:
“Every journalist who is not too stupid or too full of himself to notice what is going on knows that what he does is morally indefensible. He is a kind of confidence man, preying on peoples vanity, ignorance, or loneliness, gaining their trust and betraying them without remorse.”
—Janet Malcolm (b. 1934)
“I do not like forced integration.... I do not like forced anything.... as a youngster I lived in a white neighborhood with a white neighbor next door. We would go to them, they would go to us. If they had anything, we had it. We lived just like one. We didnt think about no integration.”
—Ruby Middleton Forsythe (b. 1905)
