Barangays
Malabon City is composed of 21 barangays. In 1956, Acacia was created a barrio from the sitio of San Marcelo, which was formerly part of barrio Tugatog.Before, when Malabon separated from Navotas, Brgy. Tanza was included in the plebiscite stating the city of Navotas. Ironically, Tanza shall be part of Malabon. Until now, Malabon city is still claiming Tanza as part of Malabon city.
