Once Mainpuri is connected to Etawah,a number of trains will be diverted to this new route to reduce traffice of Jhansi Kanpur line and Delhi Hawra line.Mainpuri Kanpur route will attract total of around 4 to 5 existing trains.The count of trains running is expected to cross 10 by year 2015.
These trains will connect Mainpuri to major cities like Gwalior,Jhansi,Bhopal,Mumbai,Kanpur,Lucknow,Allahabad,Delhi.This will help local business to give an opprtunity to increase trade among major cities .
This will also help city to connect with major cities for education,healthcare and tourarism .Two trains from Farrukhabad are proposed as of now.
