MADtv Recurring Characters - Mofaz, The Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man

Mofaz, the Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man (Michael McDonald) scoffs when his customers complain about their problems. He describes his miserable life, inadvertently making them feel better about themselves. Mofaz's complaints involve various facets of his life, such as his job and family. Mofaz speaks poor English, often searching for words with his catchphrase "Erm, how you say?", also using the expressions "hellaaa, hellaaa, hellaaa" for "testicles," and "kraimenech" for "vulva". In each skit, he would be given a different title, following the form "The Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man Who ".

In the skit with Hillary Clinton (Nicole Parker), Mofaz claimed that his full name is "Mofaz Idi Amin Pol Pot Stalin bin Laden Manson Johnson Always".

Mofaz appeared 14 times during seasons 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13.

Famous quotes containing the words depressed, persian, truck and/or man:

Sport in the sense of a mass-spectacle, with death to add to the underlying excitement, comes into existence when a population has been drilled and regimented and depressed to such an extent that it needs at least a vicarious participation in difficult feats of strength or skill or heroism in order to sustain its waning life-sense.
    Lewis Mumford (1895–1990)

Oh! thou clear spirit of clear fire, whom on these seas I as Persian once did worship, till in the sacramental act so burned by thee, that to this hour I bear the scar; I now know thee, thou clear spirit, and I now know that thy right worship is defiance. To neither love nor reverence wilt thou be kind; and e’en for hate thou canst but kill; and all are killed. No fearless fool now fronts thee.
    Herman Melville (1819–1891)

They shoulda called me Little Cocaine, I was sniffing so much of the stuff! My nose got big enough to back a diesel truck in, unload it, and drive it right out again.
    Little Richard (b. 1932)

There is no man hath a virtue that he hath not a glimpse of, nor any man an attaint but he carries some stain of it.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
