Mad Man Moon - Working Titles For The Album

Working Titles For The Album

Before A Trick of the Tail was released, two songs had working titles. Below is a list of the original working title and finalised song title (in parentheses):

  • "Indians" ("Squonk")
  • "Beloved Summer" ("It's Yourself"; not included on the album, but later released as the B-side of "Your Own Special Way" and features on "Genesis: Archive 2: 1976-1992")

Famous quotes containing the words working, titles and/or album:

If Botticelli were alive today he’d be working for Vogue.
    Peter Ustinov (b. 1921)

We have to be despised by somebody whom we regard as above us, or we are not happy; we have to have somebody to worship and envy, or we cannot be content. In America we manifest this in all the ancient and customary ways. In public we scoff at titles and hereditary privilege, but privately we hanker after them, and when we get a chance we buy them for cash and a daughter.
Mark Twain [Samuel Langhorne Clemens] (1835–1910)

What a long strange trip it’s been.
Robert Hunter, U.S. rock lyricist. “Truckin’,” on the Grateful Dead album American Beauty (1971)
