Current Role

Lashbrook was an Assistant Professor at Eastern Oregon University, and an adjunct professor at Oregon State University. In addition to Sports Management Worldwide he is an adjunct professor at Concordia University in Portland for undergraduate programs and with Concordia University Chicago for post graduates programs. He has been working and teaching in sports management for over 30 years. Lashbrook has served at the collegiate level as an athletic academic advisor and athletic director. At the professional level, he has been a National Football League sports agent for the past 15 years and created the online sports management company SportsManagementWorldwide.com.

He was an Assistant Athletic Director at the University of Missouri, before becoming a Director of Athletics at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Lashbrook was also the UAF athletic director from 1988-93. In 1985, Dr. Lashbrook served as President of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics. His campus experiences include serving as an adjunct professor at Oregon State University, Eastern Oregon University, and Western Oregon University and Pacific University. As an Adjunct Professor at the United States Sports Academy he was named Professor of the Year in the Distant Learning Program in 2000. In 2009, Lashbrook was chosen for Fort Hays State University’s Alumni Achievement Award. The award is for the highest recognition of its graduates, honoring graduates who have made outstanding and unselfish contributions in service to their community, state, or nations as citizens, in chosen career fields, or through philanthropic work.
