Lycaenidae - Subfamilies

Subfamilies

Many taxonomists include only the Lycaeninae, Poritiinae, Miletinae and Curetinae under the Lycaenidae.

The genus Chrysoritis is included with Lycaenidae but has not been assigned to a subfamily.

Other classifications notably include the Riodininae (e.g., Abisara echerius).
