Modernization and Expansion
The Stanford University Medical Center (Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, Stanford Hospital & Clinics and the Stanford University School of Medicine) are currently in the planning phase of construction of a state-of-the-art medical center. The construction will address several important issues including: state-mandated seismic safety laws, a critical shortage of beds, increasing patient needs, undersized facilities, and the space requirements of new medical technologies and advances in medical care.
