Lucan, Dublin
Lucan (Irish: Leamhcán, meaning "place of elms") is a suburban town in County Dublin, Ireland, in the administrative area of South Dublin. It is situated some 13 km from Dublin city centre.
Lucan is situated on the River Liffey and River Grifeen . It is located just off the N4 road and is close to the boundary with County Kildare. It is also connected by road to Clondalkin and Palmerstown.
