History
Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) was established in 1979 with a three-year part-time PGDBM programme mainly to cater to the needs of those executives in and around Chennai.
The part-time PGDBM programme has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Since 1995, LIBA offers a two-year full-time PGDM programme. This programme has been approved by the AICTE and is recognized as equivalent to an MBA degree of Indian Universities by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). LIBA also has collaborations with several Universities overseas and seeks to imbibe a global mindset in its students.
