Lower Dauphin High School

Lower Dauphin High School is a public high school located in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Lower Dauphin School District, serving Hummelstown, East Hanover, South Hanover, Londonderry Township, and Conewago Township. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, in 2010, the school reported an enrollment of 1,219 pupils in grades 9th through 12th, with 154 pupils eligible for a federal free or reduced price lunch. The school employed 93 teachers yielding a student teacher ratio of 13:1. According to a report by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, 100% of its teachers were rated "Highly Qualified" under No Child Left Behind. The school was built in 1960. Enrollment in the 2006–07 school year was 1,275 pupils.
