Famous quotes containing the words love and, love, tribute and/or silver:

    Come away, come sweet Love,
    The golden morning breakes:
All the earth, all the ayre,
    Of love and pleasure speakes.
    John Dowland (1562–1626)

The love between man and woman is the greatest and most complete passion the world will ever see, because it is dual, because it is of two opposing kinds.
    —D.H. (David Herbert)

A route differs from a road not only because it is solely intended for vehicles, but also because it is merely a line that connects one point with another. A route has no meaning in itself; its meaning derives entirely from the two points that it connects. A road is a tribute to space. Every stretch of road has meaning in itself and invites us to stop. A route is the triumphant devaluation of space, which thanks to it has been reduced to a mere obstacle to human movement and a waste of time.
    Milan Kundera (b. 1929)

Eftsoones the Nymphes, which now had Flowers their fill,
Ran all in haste, to see that silver brood,
As they came floating on the Christal Flood,
    Edmund Spenser (1552?–1599)
