Head Coaches
On January 15, 2010, Louisiana Tech athletics director/head football coach Derek Dooley was hired to replace Lane Kiffin as the next Tennessee Volunteers head football coach. On January 20, 2010, LA Tech hired Arizona Wildcats offensive coordinator Sonny Dykes to succeed Dooley as the 31st head football coach in Louisiana Tech history.
