The 40,000 sq ft (3,700 m2) State-of-the-Art facility is located at 10550 Airline Hwy Baton Rouge, LA 70816. LCI is one of the largest culinary schools in the South with 4 demo labs, 2 commercial kitchens, media center, classrooms, dining hall, amphitheater, citrus grove, and herb gardens. New construction to add on an additional 10,000 to 12,000 sq ft (1,100 m2) is scheduled for the summer of 2011.
Leisure Classes are open to the public and held on Saturdays or evening weekdays. LCI provides Team Building workshops and consultant services for private and publicly owned companies. Workshops include culinary cooking competitions, menu devolvement, time management, leadership, and menu completion.
