Louise Stratten

Louise Beatrice Stratten (born May 8, 1968), also known as "L.B.", is the younger sister of the murdered actress Dorothy Stratten, who was dating director Peter Bogdanovich at the time of her death.

While Louise Hoogstraten was attending school at Banting Junior High School, Coquitlam, BC, she claimed had a boyfriend that lived in Los Angeles, CA.

In the new school year of 1982 aged 14, she proudly showed off her new diamond ring and gold necklace gifts from her boyfriend in Los Angeles. These were gifts from Peter Bogdanovich that past summer, referred to as her boyfriend at the time. This also being a time when she had just had very expensive corrective surgery and braces put on, making it seem rather odd that she would have a boyfriend so far away and wealthy enough to lavish her with pricy gifts and expensive surgeries.

There was never any mention of her late sister Dorothy Stratten and she seemed quite content with her new life being flown to California to visit with Peter Bogdanovich on quite a regular basis.

Stratten was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. On December 30, 1988, the 49-year-old Bogdanovich married 20-year-old Louise after dating her for a few years after Dorothy's death. Shortly after her marriage to Bogdanovich, Louise pursued a career as an actress. The couple divorced in 2001.
