Louis Giscard d'Estaing (born October 20, 1958) is a French polititian and former member of the National Assembly of France. He represented the Puy-de-Dôme department, losing in 2012 against green candidate Danielle Auroi and is a member of the Union for a Popular Movement. He is the son of former President of France Valéry Giscard d'Estaing.
