Loughmore

Loughmore, officially Loughmoe ( /lɒxˈmoʊ/ lokh-MOH; Irish: Luach Maigh or Luachma), is a village in North Tipperary in the province of Munster, Ireland. The village is best known for its castle, seat of the Barons of Loughmoe.

Loughmore is one half of the Roman Catholic parish of Loughmore-Castleiney in the archdiocese of Cashel and Emly. It is also in the historical barony of Eliogarty.
