Lost Winds
LostWinds is a 2008 platform video game developed by Frontier Developments and published for the Wii as a launch title for WiiWare. In LostWinds, the player controls a young boy named Toku and the elemental wind spirit Enril (and in two-player mode, a second player also controls Enril) as they travel Mistralis in order to rescue it from the antagonist Balasar, a vengeful spirit.
The success of LostWinds has caused it to be ported to the Android (in development) and iOS Mobile operating systems. A sequel, LostWinds 2: Winter of the Melodias, was released on 9 October 2009.

Famous quotes containing the words lost and/or winds:
“Men are more evanescent than pictures, yet one sorrows for lost friends, and pictures are my friends. I have none others. I am never long enough with men to attach myself to them; and whatever feelings of attachment I have are to material things.”
—John Ruskin (18191900)
“I call to mind the navy great
That the Greeks brought to Troye town,
And how the boistous winds did beat
Their ships, and rent their sails adown;
Till Agamemnons daughters blood
Appeased the gods that them withstood.”
—Henry Howard, Earl Of Surrey (1517?1547)
