Lord Michael Fitzalan-Howard

Major-General Lord Michael Fitzalan-Howard, GCVO, CB, CBE, MC (22 October 1916 – 2 November 2007) was an officer in the British Army for 34 years. He was then Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps in the British Royal Household for 9 years until 1981, and Gold Stick-in-Waiting and Colonel of the Life Guards for 20 years, finally retiring in 1999.
