Cores
Lorbeer is unique in that it sorts students into curriculum cores or cores for short. Each core represents different tiers of classes: advanced, honors, and basic. Each grade level has its own set of cores. It's not uncommon for students to be assigned to teachers from different cores within the same grade level. A student is considered part of a core by which they have the most teachers in (i.e. if a student's curriculum includes mostly teachers from Peace Core, that student is considered to be in Peace Core).
