Loop Fusion - Note

Note

Some optimizations like this don't always improve the run-time performance. This is due to architectures that provide better performance if there are two loops rather than one, for example due to increased data locality within each loop. In those cases, a single loop may be transformed into two, which is called loop fission.

Famous quotes containing the word note:

In it he proves that all things are true and states how the truths of all contradictions may be reconciled physically, such as for example that white is black and black is white; that one can be and not be at the same time; that there can be hills without valleys; that nothingness is something and that everything, which is, is not. But take note that he proves all these unheard-of paradoxes without any fallacious or sophistical reasoning.
    Savinien Cyrano De Bergerac (1619–1655)

My note to you I certainly did not expect to see in print; yet I have not been much shocked by the newspaper comments upon it. Those comments constitute a fair specimen of what has occurred to me through life. I have endured a great deal of ridicule without much malice; and have received a great deal of kindness, not quite free from ridicule. I am used to it.
    Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865)

There’s not a note of mine that’s worth the noting.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
