London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 - Airlines and Destinations

Airlines and Destinations

British Airways use Terminal 5 to operate the majority of their flights serving Heathrow. Some destinations are served from Terminal 3, primarily to those also served by BA's Oneworld alliance partners such as Qantas and Finnair. Also, since their acquisition of British Midland International, some routes now operate from Terminal 1 due to space constraints in Terminal 5. The routes operating from Terminal 1 tend to be flights without lots of connecting traffic. Since March 2012, Iberia has operated from Terminal 5, though their flights to and from London now operate with BA flight numbers. This is reciprocated in Madrid where BA departures operate with Iberia flight numbers.

In 2011 Terminal 5 handled 26.3 million passengers on 184,616 flights.
