Enfield London Borough Council is elected every four years, with currently 63 councillors being elected at each election. Since the first election in 1964 the council has alternated between Conservative and Labour control. The Conservatives gained control at the 2002 election and held it until Labour took control back at the 2010 election. As of the 2010 election the council is composed of the following councillors:-
