Bus Shunt Method (BSM)

Each slave node has two LIN pins

  1. bus_in
  2. bus_out

Each slave node needs some additional circuitry compared to the standard LIN circuitry to aid in the position detection.

  1. The standard pull-up must be switchable
  2. Switchable 2mA current source from VBAT
  3. Shunt resistor
  4. Differential amplifier
  5. Analog to digital converter
