Family and Early Life
L.N. Sinha was born in the village of Mussi (Belaganj, Gaya, Bihar). His father was a religious, middle-class member of a Bhumihar Brahmin family. His mother, who was also an unassuming and religious-minded person. L.N. Sinha was very prominent respected lawyer. He was regarded for his legal skills and was much respected by the legal and political fraternities for his expertise. His son Lalit Mohan Sharma rose to become the Chief Justice of India. Before becoming the Solicitor General of India, he was the Advocate General of Bihar for several years. His son Lalit Mohan Sharma rose to become the Chief Justice of India.
