Live in Tokyo 25th November 2005

Live In Tokyo 25th November 2005 is a 2005 (see 2005 in music) album by Underworld. It is a recording of Underworld's live performance at the Electraglide festival in Tokyo on 25 November 2005.

This limited edition 3 CD set was originally available to order only at the 2005 Electraglide shows in Tokyo and Osaka. It was shipped a few weeks later to attendees who ordered them at the show. After fulfilling the Electraglide attendee orders, Underworld sold the remainder of the stock directly to dirty.org (now darktrain.org) members via semi-private eBay auctions. There were apparently only 7000 copies of the album made.

Famous quotes containing the words live in, live, tokyo and/or november:

While I wrought out these fitful Danaan rhymes,
My heart would brim with dreams about the times
When we bent down above the fading coals
And talked of the dark folk who live in souls
Of passionate men, like bats in the dead trees....
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)

Ezra Pound still lives in a village and his world is a kind of village and people keep explaining things when they live in a village.... I have come not to mind if certain people live in villages and some of my friends still appear to live in villages and a village can be cozy as well as intuitive but must one really keep perpetually explaining and elucidating?
    Gertrude Stein (1874–1946)

Eclecticism is the degree zero of contemporary general culture: one listens to reggae, watches a western, eats McDonald’s food for lunch and local cuisine for dinner, wears Paris perfume in Tokyo and “retro” clothes in Hong Kong; knowledge is a matter for TV games. It is easy to find a public for eclectic works.
    Jean François Lyotard (b. 1924)

Not yesterday I learned to know
The love of bare November days
Before the coming of the snow....
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)
