Liu Huan - An Inborn Singer

An Inborn Singer

Liu Huan’s skilled vocals give a deep impression to people. He never received any systematic training in singing, but that did not stop him from singing or composing. He is self-taught. His classmates recall Liu Huan sitting on the stairs of his dorm and playing his guitar singing songs every night until midnight. When he was a student, he always traveled to France. When Liu Huan was in France, contrary to his classmates who spent most time of their time shopping and sightseeing, he always stayed in a bar in search of some inspiration.

Famous quotes containing the words inborn and/or singer:

It is almost impossible to be a doctor and an honest man, but it is obscenely impossible to be a psychiatrist without at the same time bearing the stamp of the most incontestable madness: that of being unable to resist that old atavistic reflex of the mass of humanity, which makes any man of science who is absorbed by this mass a kind of natural and inborn enemy of all genius.
    Antonin Artaud (1896–1948)

The singer stopped playing and went to bed
While the Weary Blues echoed through his head.
He slept like a rock or a man that’s dead.
    Langston Hughes (1902–1967)
