Lithuanian Passport - Physical Appearance

Physical Appearance

In conformity with the standard European Union design, Lithuanian passports are burgundy, with the Lithuanian coat of arms embedded in the centre of the front cover. The words "Europos SÄ…junga" (English: European Union) and "Lietuvos Respublika" (English: Republic of Lithuania) are inscribed above the coat of arms and the word "Pasas" (English: Passport) is inscribed below the coat of arms. Lithuanian passports have the standard biometric symbol at the bottom.

Famous quotes containing the words physical appearance, physical and/or appearance:

Even the simple act that we call “going to visit a person of our acquaintance” is in part an intellectual act. We fill the physical appearance of the person we see with all the notions we have about him, and in the totality of our impressions about him, these notions play the most important role.
    Marcel Proust (1871–1922)

Unfortunately, moral beauty in art—like physical beauty in a person—is extremely perishable. It is nowhere so durable as artistic or intellectual beauty. Moral beauty has a tendency to decay very rapidly into sententiousness or untimeliness.
    Susan Sontag (b. 1933)

The true, prescriptive artist strives after artistic truth; the lawless artist, following blind instinct, after an appearance of naturalness. The one leads to the highest peaks of art, the other to its lowest depths.
    Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (1749–1832)
