- He succeeded the previous emperor when he was 3. Due to his young age, the Dowager Empress Kamakura Ichi (鎌倉市 太后, Kamakura Ichi-taikō?, Liancang Shi Taihou), his mother, acts as an advisor. Then, the Kamakura clan uses this chance to take power from the emperor and gain military force.
