• William McKinley (1843–1901), U.S. Representative from Ohio 1877–1891, delegate to the Republican National Convention 1884 1888, Governor of Ohio 1892–1896, President of the United States 1897–1901. Brother of David Allison McKinley.

NOTE: William McKinley was also cousin of U.S. Ambassador Henry P. Fletcher.
