Torchwood Novels
The first three novels in the series were commissioned in May 2006 and were published on 4 January 2007. They sold well in the United Kingdom and went to the top of the Children's Book charts. The books themselves can be read in any order and share no internal continuity. However they often reference and foreshadow events in the series. The groups of three novels, when put together, create a linking picture across the spines displaying the team.

Famous quotes containing the word novels:
“Fathers and Sons is not only the best of Turgenevs novels, it is one of the most brilliant novels of the nineteenth century. Turgenev managed to do what he intended to do, to create a male character, a young Russian, who would affirm histhat charactersabsence of introspection and at the same time would not be a journalists dummy of the socialistic type.”
